Full-arch implants

All-on-4 and All-on-6

For people who have lost all their teeth in a jaw, or whose dentures do not hold: a fixed full arch on four or six implants.

What is All-on-4?

Two implants are placed upright at the front and two are tilted at the back. Tilting lets the back implants be longer and engage stronger bone, which often reduces the need for sinus lifts or grafting. With enough bone, six implants (All-on-6) spread the load over a wider area. The examination decides which suits you.

Who is it for?

  • People with no teeth in one jaw
  • People whose remaining teeth cannot be saved because of advanced gum disease
  • Denture wearers struggling to eat or speak comfortably
  • Long-term denture wearers with significant bone loss

Process

  1. Examination, X-ray and digital planning
  2. Surgery: failing teeth are removed if needed and the implants are placed
  3. If the implants reach sufficient initial stability, a fixed temporary bridge can be fitted shortly afterwards; this is decided during surgery
  4. After healing, usually 3–6 months later, the final bridge is made

Aftercare

Daily cleaning under the bridge with interdental brushes and a water flosser, plus check-ups and professional cleaning every six months, are key to long-term success.

Frequently asked questions

Will I get teeth on the same day?

In suitable conditions a fixed temporary bridge can be fitted shortly after surgery. This depends on implant stability measured during surgery. The final bridge is made after healing.

How many trips will I need?

Usually two: one for planning and surgery (about a week), and a second after 3–6 months for the final bridge. See Your visit to Adana.

All-on-4 or All-on-6?

With enough bone, six implants distribute forces more widely; with limited bone, the tilted four-implant design can avoid extra surgery. The examination decides.

How do I clean fixed teeth?

With a toothbrush, interdental brushes and a water flosser every day, plus regular professional cleaning.
