Practical guide

Your visit to Adana

A practical guide for patients travelling to Adana. This page is information only; we do not arrange travel or accommodation.

Before you book flights

Send your recent X-rays, and a few photos of your teeth, via WhatsApp. I will give you a general view of what may be possible and how many trips it is likely to take. A definitive plan is always made after an examination in Adana.

Getting here

Adana is served by Çukurova International Airport (COV), which opened in August 2024 between Adana and Tarsus. It is roughly 35 km from Adana city centre; the drive usually takes 30–45 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis and airport shuttles are available. The clinic is on Turgut Özal Boulevard in the Çukurova district.

How many trips?

  • Single or several implants: usually two trips. Trip one: examination, X-ray, planning and implant placement (about 5–7 days). Trip two, 3–6 months later: final crowns or bridge (about 5–7 days).
  • All-on-4 / All-on-6: usually two trips. Trip one: planning, surgery and, when stability allows, a fixed temporary bridge (about 7–10 days). Trip two, 3–6 months later: final bridge (about 7–10 days).
  • Zirconia crowns or veneers: usually one trip of about 7–10 days.
  • Bone grafting or sinus lift: can add an extra trip and several months of healing.

These are typical ranges, not promises. Your own timeline depends on your bone, your general health and how you heal.

After you return home

You will receive written aftercare instructions. Keep in touch over WhatsApp during healing; send photos if anything worries you. Regular check-ups with a local dentist are recommended between visits.

Language

Consultations are held in Turkish or English, so you can discuss your plan directly with your dentist. You can also write to us on WhatsApp in English.
